Have you seen where it's leaking from? I had a leak but it was from the oil temp gauge dipstick. Switched back to regular and seems ok now. I could see the smear on the oil tank, and i ended up with a stain on my back pants leg.
I had 2 within the first 1000 miles. The stock oil dipstick was popping up while riding and I would get oil on the back of my leg. Also I had a leak in the oil line that was giving me spots under the bike overnight... I forget where in the line. I'll try to look when I get home.
I had an oil leak that blew oil onto the left side cover [battery cover], went to dealer for 1st service and told them about it. When i
got it back, the leak was gone and they did't even address the concern. Now i've got 2000 miles, still no leaks. I think the oil level was overfilled from the factory and venting out one of the vent hoses . check your oil level, maybe the same problem.
Are you certain it is oil from your bike. It maybe something off the road, or something they sprayed on or whatever preping it at the dealership. Most of the oil stuff is on he left side, I guess I would start looking there. Is this bike new or used.
I'm sure its coming from the bike. Its new, only 500 miles. When I get home plane on taking it in. Wanted to know if anyone else was having the same problem. Its on the engine, left side. Also, had Stage I done and still popping, is this normal.
I had my rockerbox gaskets leak at exactly 500mi. Mine had the notorius paper gaskets. Had them replaced with the metal ones. Dealer charged me over 300 dollars for something they should have fixed free. My warranty was up though cause I was layed up with a back prolem, so no miles but the clock ran out.
