I've seen them somewhere but I forgot where. My friend has on on his Sporty. However, the one's I've seen for the Softail where around $2,300. So, I doubt that I will be getting one. I'm not going to spend that much trying to look cool, and then end up getting my pants leg caught in the damn thing and end up crashing. How cool would I look then?

wanna know the best way to start a bobber project, deiced your going to do as much of the work you can your self. By no means am I an expert on harleys but before I got my 02 sporty I was thinking about buying one with all the work done already. but then its not your personality into the bike its the person who built it. You cant do it all but do as much as you can. dont let anyone tell you what you can do or what will look wrong, there is this guy in town at his shop if you go looking for a part and the guy thinks it looks dumb he will tell you "hey thats not right put this itll look better" but its all what you want. Just my point of view but again by no means am I an EXPERT... at harleys in fact im not an expert at anything. jack of all trades master and none

Lol, you don't want to be that guy.
I'll be darned, I can't say I've ever seen an open primary sporty. I didn't know, with my limited knowledge it could be done...

Wait what are they doing? If I can get full MSRP for my Nightster I may move up to a SB a year or two earlier than I planned....

Just realised this is 3 years old, program likely over, carry on.

It can be done for a couple grand. And it's not that "open".

I bought the Nightster and love it. I would buy the Dyna if I had it to do again. Just my Two cents.
