I have a Clymer repair manual and it looks pretty vague. How difficult is it to re build a clutch?

I had the crank shaft replaced and the @## hole jacked up the clutch. I can't move the clutch at all. Anyone have suggestions?

I called them and they suggested taking it some place else. M/C charge back for labor is all I can say. They are almost 100 miles from me, so I'm going to try and do it. I just hope I don't f*&% it up.

Thanks

J&P Cycles has a pretty good inventory of factory service manuals (the real thing) which, if they're anything like the latest HD service manuals, are so much more detailed that Clymer. You might want to consider that.

Pepper: IMHO, Clymer manuals suck, H-D manuals rule! I am into Jeeps big time and found that the Clymers went just far enough to get me into trouble. I am not the greatest wrench in the world, but the H-D sevice manuals have led me thru every job with carefull reading on my part. Sometimes I am short a special tool, but the H-D manual is clear enough for my to improvise. ......... BC
