Clutch cable install?

Clutch cable install?
Putting my new handlebars on Saturday. Just a couple of questions about the clutch cable. Does it just connect inside the primary or are there any adjustments to be made inside the primary or are all the adjustments made on the outside?

The main/initial clutch adjustment is made inside the derby cover. You have to break the current adjustment setting to remove your old cable. I strongly suggest you get and read the Service Manual before proceeding.

yeah, like others have said, use the manual, make yr primary adjustment at the primary with all the slack ya can in the cable housing, after ya gitter adjusted in the primary (unscrew bearing roller and clutch holder [you'll see what i mean] put new cable in, put back on its holder and screw down till ya feel tenssion then go 1/4 off) pop the derby cover back on and do the fine adjusting in the cable sheith itself. very strait forward....good luck
