What do u wear when u ride
As the title suggests...what do you wear when you ride. In the summer months, do you always wear a jacket? Is it a lightweight leather, or some sort of mesh/cordura material. Or do you say screw it and toss on your favorite t-shirt or tank top?
I was out riding w/my uncles yesterday, and they were giving me some greif for wearing my black leather jacket. As some of you know i'm a fairly new rider, and am trying to ride as safe as possible. I will be purchasing a light weight mesh/protective jacket for summer riding...but was just curious as to what the population does on the whole.

Commuting I wear a black leather jacket, face mask, jeans and boots.
Day rides now that its warmer, my ALR vest, jeans and boots

I wear jeans, steel toed boots, and during the 'warmer weather months' I normally wear a sleeveless T-shirt and leather vest.
I don't wear a helmet, but since I have long hair I usually wear what is called a "skull cap" to keep the hair out of my face.

I wear all my leathers as much as I can. Always boots, always leather chaps and gloves, sometimes I opt out for just a t-shirt and not wear my jacket. When it gets too hot, I worry more about heat exhaustion than having a spill and take my chances. Oh, ya ... and jeans...kinda drafty without those! LOL

It's HOT in Tucson. Summertime for my daily rides I wear a shoei 1/2 helmet, long sleeve T shirt, leather vest, levis, Ariat boots and summer gloves. On trips I wear an AGV mesh jacket with armor instead of vest.
Wintertime I wear a leather Hein Gericke V pilot jacket and a full face Nolan helmet, chaps, winter gloves along with the other stuff.

Cooler weather or highway riding leather harley jacket, jeans. full gloves, now that it is we have some 80 deg weather here in NY jeans t-shirt and fingerless gloves for riding the twisty roads around here, might try a mesh jacket need to find one I like.

i was going to ask this q earlier. I went to go watch a parade on Monday and rode the bike so i had on jeans boots and a t shirt. But wjen i got off the bike i was hot as ***** and sweatin my ars off. then when i had to stand there for an hour i had a bad case of swamp as$ and was soaked. when i went out today i said screw it went out with my jean shorts t and sneaks. might have looked like a jackass but i was alot cooler. Does anone wear shors?
