My Wife just got me a 09 nightster as a wedding gift (yes i know, she rocks!). Anyway, she wants to be able to ride on the back with me. Anyone have suggestions on a 2 person seat that is comfortable for longer rides, but maintain the look of the bike? I hear great things about the corbin seats, but I am not sure how it will look on the nightster (was looking at the gunner and lady seat).
Also - I am thinking about doing some weekend trips on the bike, which would require bringing gear, any suggestions on some good ways to transport a weekends worth of gear on the bike? Ideally i would be looking for saddle bags that are easy to put on/take off.
Well no 2 up seat that is comfortable for long distance is going to maintain the look of the nightster. Anything sleek and low profile isn't gonig to be very comfy. So get what you think is going to be the most comfortable. Mustang and Corbin are hard to beat. As for sadle bags you will want to go with some classic leather throw overs. T. Just take off the seat, throw them over the fender, tie em down, and put the seat back on again. I have a set for when I decide that I need them. I picked them up for $75 from a local indy.
fox 4 - thanks, i had a feeling the feedback i got on the seat would be like that. I will look into the corbin, with the billet thumbscrew so i can change out the seat easily. Anyone else use this? how long does it take to switch the seat on average?
as far as the saddle bags, i like your idea, do I need a bracket to keep them from rubbing?

You can get the brackets, but i never did. The shocks acted like a bracket and kept the bags away from the wheel and belt. I just fiddled with the placement of the straps that came with my bags until I had them down nice and tight. On the left side I strap the bag to the licence plate bracket and on the right side to the belt guard. Worked out just fine.
as far as passenger seats go i got the badlander seat for 2up riding but my fiance hates it cuz its very uncomfortable. so i got her the buttybuddy, IMO the best 2up seat u can put on a sporty. u can either suction cup it to the fender or strap it to the existing seat.
