Default vance and hines question...

hi everyone ive decided to go for the vance and hines short staggered shots in black for my iron 883 with the fuel pack and air filter instead of going for a pair on mufflers. wanted to know is this the right chice and will it give me the sound and performance i am looking for? and with the pipes do they have removable baffles? have seen some videos and pics and they look sweeeeet...

The better choice for fuel management is the Power commander III. The V&H do have removable baffles, but the standard baffles are pretty loud as they are and performance gains are great.

i disagree with the popular reply of getting a Powercommander. If all your ever gonna do is pipes and an aircleaner then why spend twice the money on something with capabilitys you will never take full advantage of?? Dont get me wrong i LOVE the PC and have recommended and installed dozens and dozens of them im just saying that the V+H fuelpak will work just fine with just pipes and aircleaner. Now if you plan on adding cams, pistons, headwork etc... then spend the money on a PC now instead of later.

by the way i did one of the V+H short shots in black on an Iron and drilled holes in the heatshields in a offset rotating pattern and it looked awesome. a little time and a drill press and tape measure is all it takes
