Ignition & Coil Relocation Kit
I put a rubber mount 4 gal quick bob tank on my 93' 1200XL. I purchased the ignition relocation kit from J&P cycles. The problem I am having is finding somewhere to mount them. Does anyone know where i can mount either of them? thanks

ur first problem is purchasing the kit. u can fab one up no prob in like 10 mins. but some people put the ignition between the rocker boxes and others put it near the battery.

lol....sounds like you got hosed....like Austen said, you couldve just made one up. But that's besides the point. Cna you provide pics of what comes with the kit. This is important because noone can give you an idea without knowing what hardware comes with the kit. Never heard of someone actually buying a relocation kit

With some of the after-market tanks, the coil and/or ignition switch is in the way, so they give you (or sell seperately) a bracket that moves the coil and ignition switch down about a half an inch or so to make room for the tank..... Pretty much a PITA.. Sometimes you can avoid having to use it if you make a 2 inch tank lift, or like was said before, move it somewhere else on the bike.
