Turn Signal Button Replacement

SO I was driving the bike this weekend and my right blinker button decided to crap out on me. The button goes in and then gets stuck there. With difficulty I can pull it back out (not while driving). THe blinker mechanism is working fine but it seems like the spring in the button has broken or something.

1) Has this happened to anyone?
2) Is there a cheap fix?
3) Please tell me I don't have to buy the entire assembly that also contains the kill switch etc.

I'm not sure if you have to buy all the switches just to get the one you need.I would ask a dealer for that info.I replaced all my buttons with chrome ones.It was a pretty easy swap.

No. You can just buy the one button that you need to replace. You have to open up the handlebar mount to get at it but it is not too hard to do. Good luck and ride safe!
