Do you have any more info. on the model #, etc. for that air intake?
I think I "need me" one.

They have them at AutoZone, and probably several other auto parts retailers. They were about $22.00 I think, and came in 3 or 4 colors.
I looked at one, they have a blue one that would look good on my bike.
I took my A/C off to and see how I'd need to fab up some way to attach it, you just need a 3" diameter surface since the air cleaner fits with a hose clamp.
I'll spend more time figuring it out over the winter maybe.
But look at your local auto parts stores to find one.
Picked one up for about 23 bones or so (including tax). Slapped it on there, had to do a little trimming of the "trim rubber" to make it fit around the stock mounting flanges, but got it to seal up well.
Cool mod, can definitely hear it "sucking", and the looks are super.

Props again to Slackster,

Hey that's cool! I just noticed this post, and i don't feel like a cheap freak anymore. I guess the two main concerns when placing this aircleaner is. what do I do with my crankcase breathers (horse shoe that sucker) and what do I clamp it on to. Im going to explore online for this mointing point and see what I come up with. Mine was just given to me. I guess i'm going to have to remove the air cleaner and take some pics to really show you guys whats there.
What happened to your trim piece around your dipstick? Bike looks killer none the less, just spotted that and it looked out of place, lol.
LAW, it's just held on there with a plastic snap nut. Comes right off. If you don't have a custom color on you OD, just get the panels from HD. Mine were a dead nuts match.
