I realize I might be beating a dead horse here with this topic, but the wife might get me a chopper conversion kit for my 98 XL1200C for Christmas. I know there are kits from different manufacturers out there so I'm trying to get a feel for how people like them, or not like them, whatever the case....If anyone can give feedback and possibly post pictures, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

My bike's for sale (see pic below). Seeger chopper kit already installed (along with other upgrades). If you're interested, it's on Craig's List here in SoCal. If you were so inclined, you could simply change out the chopper kit from my bike onto yours and keep or sell mine - it's a '92, so not much difference from yours. PM me (or click the CL link) if you're interested.
If that is what you want... don't let some dumb *** talk you out of it... What's really gay is people who don't care for something themselves saying its gay...
I've got the AME kit on mine... been on there for over two years now... I really like it and get tons of compliments on the bike...
If you've never ridden a stretched bike there's a learning curve to it... but not bad and don't take you long to get use to it. At slow speeds (below 10 mph) it gets a little tipsy, but nothing you don't overcome quickly...
