Ok here is the deal, I want to pull the heads on my 09 sporty. Port them and put in larger valves. Most i can do myself except the machine shop work. But I have found a used set of heads cheap. I do not know if they will fit the 09's is an evo an evo? will the carborated heads fit the efi heads? here is the auction to look at. thanks for any help. or will the rocker covers fit my heads? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
yeh after looking at it, i do see some gouges on that one head. But I think that is fixable. as long as the guides arent too far gone they can be replaced
Good Grief you have a brand new bike don't buy crap like that!!!!! That is an old set of heads off an ancient 1100 Sportster you can tell by the odd shaped combustion chamber and as the last guy said that bike dropped a valve and they are trash.
A set of evo heads will bolt on but look completely stupid as the fins are way smaller in diameter. Just take your heads off in the winter and send them in to be done like 99% of people do.
