So I have completed my coil relocation but yes I have run into the problem with the length of the spark plug wires? Can I go to my local autozone or car parts store to accomplish this task today? Is it a special wire? Any information would help
we are gonna need more detail than that, where did u locate it to? are you talking about both cables or just one, maybe some pics for us slower people?
Oh sorry. I do not know how to upload pics. Although I would love too. I relocated the coil in between the rockers. I don't have the existing cables. I need new ones. Any info would help.
I used this guy Robin. http://uskoolines.com/
Get yourself some custom ones. Ordered them on a monday, had them by friday.
Very satisfied customer.
Thanks for the info. My only problem is that this is my main form of transportation and need something today. I dont know how to figure this out because most of the Harley dealers in my area have nothing in stock. Its so whack. Hey since your in orange county we should ride out some time soon. Any cool meets in your area?
Thanks Joebotics I followed your instructions. Ran into a little space issue so i made it face out. I liked the look so kept it.
2009hdnighster-mine are 11"'s but i had a special set because of how i ran my coil(which is another story! I am a total noobie to bikes and after i finished the coil relocation i put the wires i had on it and the thing would not start. for over an hour i was messing with it and then i figured out that there is a left and a right side for the coil wires. DOugh!). i went back and forth with the dealer for days and finally after googling forever came across uskoolines. Doode he is fast and on point. Prob could pay extra for faster shipping and he has all differnt kinds of colors and cable options.
i realy recomend it. Just run your old ones until you get them. Thats what i did.
