My '08 1200 Custom got 45 mpg when it was stock and 43 mpg after the stage 1 ac and pipes. The low fuel light came on consistently at 135 mis and needed about 3 gallons (meaning there was still about 1.5 gallons in the tank.) I hope that helps.

02 1200, re-jetted and tuned carburetor, about 120 miles maybe a little less since I put in bigger jets.

About 130 when my light comes on with the 4.5 tank. After installing X14iEDs, it's more like 115 now. '07 1200C

Well since the thread is alive again,my low fuel light comes on at 93 miles

It all depends on how you ride. If you're doing most of your riding 2-up or really hooning on it, you're looking at 110 - 120 miles. If you ride conservatively, 140 - 150 miles before reserve.

an '08 1200c here... my light comes on around town around 70 miles (2 gallons down and 2.5 to go). on the big road i get almost twice as many mpgs... has a whole lot to do with my right wrist- around town its a lot easier to twist that thing. on the big road its more steady. i dont ride my bike to get lotsa mpgs, and my around town mpgs are proof of that!
