Default struts

can anyone suggest a spacific brand of solid rear strut for an 09 iron? im thinking i might do the strut/fender chop mod this winter and i see a lot of choices and price ranges out there. i see anywhere from $25 to $100. also wondering what length those of you that have done it, i see most of them out there are 10 inch. i was thinking of trying the road 6 customs ones from e-bay?? thanks for your help

I just got the $30 ones off of ebay, but I haven't installed them yet. As long as the welds are solid, I can't think of what really divides the "Name Brand" struts compared to the ones made by the Average Joe in his garage. Could be the quality of the powder coating or how "polished" the actual strut looks. Go with your gut, if you feel safer with lets say Biltwell struts, go for it. Now your giving me second thoughts by going with the cheap ones!! Haha. Good luck!
