I have the Street Glide shocks on my nightster. Huge difference in ride. you can find the Street Glide shocks on ebay, ive noticed they tend to be a little more expensive than the RK shocks. I got mine off a forum member here. Check the touring section classified, you may find they there
I picked up a pair of RK lowering units (12") at a local swap meet for $100, brand new, still in the original packaging, unopened. Still have to install, but can't find the time.
Can you post a rear view pic of yours please? I looked at some chrome SG shocks for my XL1200C and they look pretty fat (diameter).
Thanks.
this is the side that matters, hard to see but there is a 1in gap between the belt guard and the shock, i don't think they are any fatter than the stock ones...just use washers or spacers on the eyes
Can't wait to get my RK Shocks installed...
I have my 1.75" 'lowering kit' on order, headed this way, via USPS.
Gonna borrow a jack this week and hopefully have em on next weekend.
Anyone here tie the shocks together to equalize the pressure...?
Have access to Brass and Stainless tubing + all the fittings. Not sure how good i could make it look.
