lol not many though. I' have scraped the pegs before, and even though we dont have many twisties here i have a few nice turns around my area. I'm just trying to learn the basics, and downt he road im planning on gettig a sports bike and maybe do some track racing.. nothing serious just hobby.

If you scraped your pegs then you answered your own question. Thats how far it will lean.

If you go too far past the scrape you will eventually need me or one of my colleagues professional services. We're not easy, but we'll come when you call us. I would rather not meet you that way. Carve the twisties on a bike made for it. Cruise on your Nightster.

ok someone help me out with this. iam used to riding sportbikes i.e. 2006 gsxr, and everything i have ever learned about lowered bikes is that they dont take curves or lean angles as well. i would think if you were to lower a sporty it would handle like crap. correct me if iam wrong but none of the ama racers lower their bikes. they set the spring weight to the rider. clarification on this subject would be nice cause i do like to lean my sportster..

Correct, racers would not lower their bike. Longer shocks would increase the lean angle helping it take the turns better.
