I got my wife a 2006 XL 883 C. She wants Springer forks put on the front.
I'm a Truck mechanic, so I'm pretty handy with a wrench. How difficult would it be for me to replace the forks having never done it before? About how long would it take? And is there anything that i need to get besides whats on the bike? Where can i find torque specs. And are the Milwaukee twins springers any good?

I was looking at the springer front ends offered by Demons cycles. He said it's a bolt on fit for 04 and up sportsters. $650.00. Does anyone have any experience with this front end?
