ok, so i am lucky enough to live in crotch of america, we have the humidity of new orleans with out the good food, and the winters of iowa with out the pheasant. thus i have time to tinker with the new bike. it has been converted to a 1200 already and i have full chrome forks and spoke wheels that should be here anytime. a guy i work with who has painted several bikes before said he would repaint the fenders that are chipped. but i am not sure if i want to keep the stock fenders on. i would like to make a few cosmetic modifications, but really dont know enough about it yet to know where to look or what is out there. any ideas, pics, thoughts, would be great. thanks.

Default Lots of pics just search around

Everyone has their own style and what they like. There are lots of pics just search around and see what you like. Me I like the xr750 dirt track look, but the bobber nightster look is very cool also.

Would be good to know a bit more about your bike. Lower the front fender, bob the rear, two things I can say just looking at your avatar

94 sportster 883 xlh converted to 1200. painting is not a problem, and acually thought about buyind different tins for it. i like the bob tail look, but also thinking of a solo seat. just not sure what to do. i like the look of the nightster rear fender. going to do mostly daytime/nice weather driving. not planning on any long road trips as of now, but i want it to be comfortable. thanks, GTG

It is hard to tell from your avatar pic, but I was under the impression that the XLH had the peanut tank?

You could bob the hell out of it pretty easily.Chop the back fender, remove the front, add fork gaitors, solo seat, maybe change the bars. Most of that wouldn't be to terribly expensive or diffucult.
