what "wheel" fit a sportster
Im just curious what wheels will fit a sportster. Could i fit a 21" x 2.15 wheel thats is made for a 00-06 fxst and a fxdwg 00-05. Can it be modified to fit (spacers or what not). Just curious what would work and if it cant work, why? Thanks, just always wanted to know.
I'm putting aftermarket wheels from an 08 FXSTB on my 03 XLC and it's definitely not a direct swap. Luckily my front wheel bearing hubs bolt on so I was able to make new ones to fit my stock narrow glide front end and even though that sounds simple it was a bitch to get the wheel centered & the brake rotor properly lined up with the caliper....On the rear I'm making a whole new swing arm & had to cut my frame to spread it.

I'll measure my stock 21 from my Train for width but I think it will bolt up.Both 3/4 axles.I had thought of doing that with my Sportster but needed 60 spoke to match the rear I had.G.

+1 - But the bearings can be swapped out to whatever size you need if you find a wheel that has different size bearings.
