I just bought a 1200 Custom and I like it so far. Im 6'3" and 200 so long enough to feel cramped a bit. Need a new seat and probably going to do forward controls but otherwise its great. Congrats on the purchase.

do you have a sporty because it's more affordable? or do you have it because you liked it the best? it's easy to like the sporty if that's what your budget allows, but if your budget would allow a bigger bike, would you still rock the sporty?
i mean no offence to anyone, but if i was in the market for a 11K or less bike it would be sporty hands down.. but i think my budget will allow me to go up to 15K
When I was at the dealership I had my choice between the '10 Nightster (which I got) or a leftover '09 Dyna. I come from riding a Ducati 900SS/SP so the control location (mids) and the smaller/nimbler bike appealed to me. I have changed the seat and am considering the rear shocks as we go 2-up a bit of the time. I like the big bike too but for me the look and feel of the Nightster was all I wanted.
Oh, I am 6'6" and around 240 too.

Rent it first. Try a couple different rides. A lot cheaper in the long run. Trust me on this one.
