No such thing as "dangerously slow speed" unless you're cutting people off. It's not a sport bike - it sits four inches off the ground - it's going to scrape in corners.

i don't know if its just the people around where i live but turning into my neighborhood off of the main road (no stop light or stop sign to slow traffic down) if i slow down too much people barrel up on my **** and i'm afraid of getting plowed into. i'm just a little paranoid because i've been in a couple of bad accidents in the past that were the fault of aggressive cagers so i like to keep the flow of traffic going as much as i can and get the hell out of their way.

not trying to make this into a sportbike guys i'm just a little concerned about the lean angle and wanted to know if there was a solution that didn't involve scraping up the pipes or anything. i appreciate all of your input

But then it's not an Iron. If you're gonna do that, buy an xr.

slow down in the turns. It gives everyone a chance to look at your bike as you rumble by.

Slow down and re-evaluate why you bought the Iron in the first place. Canyon carving probably wasn't it. It was probably more about being seen and heard.

I transformed my 05 Screaming Eagle Electra Glide into a GL1800 and still have that problem; but I do get through the twisties much faster especially with Race-Tech front and rear.
