Strut Wobbles??
My buddy Dan rides an 09 Street Bob. He has recently put struts on the back. He was telling me this morning that there is alot of wobble in it now. He said mainly when he changes lanes, I guess he meant when he leans? Not sure really but he said it doesnt handle well. Is that normal? Those of you with struts, can you tell a difference in the handling? Im curious. Ive never heard anything about it before.

I would say that is normal. Last time I checked suspension and alignment are 2 of the most important things when it comes to handling. The third would be tire compound. He took the suspension off and now the handling is going to suffer because the suspension pushes the tire into the ground when you are turning to promote traction when the vehicle changes direction and momentum keeps going straight.

Allot of people with Street Bobs lower the rear without doing anything to the front .This affects the rake and trail numbers in a not good way which causes a wobble when cornering at high speeds something Dynas do anyway when pushed hard enough.Tell you friend to slide the tubes up in the triples a bit to fix this.I'm running 11" shocks on mine sliding the tubes up just 1/2" made a big difference.
