It comes with a 3.2 gallon tank, but the fuel line is just slightly forward of the middle of the tank. If you raise the tank, you affect the angle for which it can pull fuel... Thus reducing your USABLE amount to around 1.3- 2.2 or any other amount depending of the amount of lift you used. Raising the back of the tank allows you to regain SOME of that lost usable fuel whilst keeping the look and open engine bay. I probably have about 2.2-2.5 gallons total now, and around 2.0 usable. Those dang baggers with their 7 gallon tanks.... FML

I've always found my bikes (a bunch of em) are like your old lady. More for riding than for looking at. Hate to end up in the middle of nowhere cause you don't have enough fuel to get to a town.
