Okay! I know that there have been some similar questions but, none really answer what I need. So here it is!
Can you put Aftermarket risers on a 06 883c and still retain the factory gauge cluster? I know that there would be wiring issues as far as running them and so on but, I really want my bars more straight. More drag look!
Are you trying to get some straight risers to put a peanut tank on? If so, i THINK you can get some at the right height and put your 883 speedo/clamp combo on the top with the indicator lights built in. You'll just need to make sure the wiring is tidy so it doesn't look bad or risk introducing moisture.
Those are my thoughts only, I'm working on this little project myself now.
Thanks for the help! I guess I did not think anyone would help!
I acutally have the H/D drag bars already but, what I am trying to achieve is a more straight riser like midwest XL has on his bike! I am starting not to like the pull back I have on the custom. I guess it is because I feel like I sit high on the bike and I dont like having to look down so much at the gauges!
