Default Nightster front fender

Does any know if there is a way to remove the front fender from the brace without damaging either? It looks as if it is riveted on. I would like to see how the brace looks on the bike without the fender on it. RSD has an awesome looking fork brace that goes on without the fender but the price is a bit much. I looked on ebay for one but they are all new so they cost just as much as the RSD brace.

Lick's has some priced in the $42.99 range.

Also available in raw style for $36.99.

The stock fender does not do much at all or any for the forks so if you want to remove the front fender just go for it and you will be fine. If you want the tie in the front forks then you need to get a real fork brace.

Looks like popping rivets must be the new trend.

Thank's for the info. I guess I was just looking for something on the less expensive side. The lick's brace looks pretty cool so now it's time to consider it.

The only downside to the Lick's is that the hole for the fender bolts are too small. It's no big deal though just have to drill a bigger hole ... worth the savings IMO.

I have just run mine without a fender. I like the look and I don't see where the fender supported anything. If you get caught in the rain just use a rag from fork to fork to keep the water at bay.
