Default Finally Bought Her

So I did some test drives and went with a red 1200L 06 model. Bought it tonight and will pick it up tomorrow or wednesday. My question is they gave me an owners manual before I left to catch up reading before I got it. Didnt notice til I got home that its a 04 manual...is there a huge difference? Should I hold off reading til I can get the 06?

Congrats on your new scoot! I have an '06XL myself and absolutely love it. I've only had it for a few months and have 3,000 miles on her already.

I can't answer the manual question for you, but I'd recommend getting the right one. I read mine over the course of a few trips to the Throne and I highly recommend reading just about every page. There's tons of good info in there!

Read it, sure, but still get the right one when you get your bike. There are some minor differences.

First thing I can think of is the transmission is different....

I would get the correct manual for the bike... even if they have to order it for you....(at their expense of course)
