Is this a different slide than the one that happened yesterday? Yesterdays slide was about 2 miles north of the N. end of the Dragon, somewhere near the dam.
That would make for some good up and back runs if they let you just enter/exit from the south end.

I'm not sure if they have the Dragon open or not. I suspect that it's closed, since a majority of the Dragon is in TN, and TN would have no way to get there to run their radar. They wouldn't want people having too much fun. Also would have no way for emergency vehicles to get in there. NC doesn't cover the dragon, except for the mile or so that is in NC.
