So I was talking to a service manager and he said just driving around town will break in the first 100 miles and at that point drive anywhere..including highways and fluctuate the speed for til 500 miles then its good to go...any thoughts would be great
I bought my bike 120 miles from home. 98% of it was highway...and the speed limit was as high as 65 MPH on the way home. The technician told me not to worry about the speed on the way home and go ahead and ride up to 70 MPH, but to make sure I varied the speed as much as possible for the first 500 or so miles after that. Since I ride to work almost daily, I then had a nice variety and balance of speeds.

That sounds about right for what I was told too. Then after 500 it's all hell breakin loose.
