Has anyone here ever used one of these bad boys? Im in the process of trying to get one ordered and was just wondering if anyone here has had any experince with them.
i had a joker machine one that is almost exactly the same, my bike ran like s**t because the filter they used was only 3'' round and just wasnt enough air flow for my stage 1 if there air filter is larger it would be good but it dosnt say,so i went back to my screaming eagle a/c runs perfect
I have the Joker Machine one, it is a 4 inch round filter and my bike runs fine with it with stage 1 and the SEPST. I like it cause my leg isn't hitting the filter. That one doesn't look like as good of quality as the joker one, but for the price difference, it should be just fine.
I recently ordered a joker machine a/c and it came with the wrong backing plate so the shop ordered it again and came wrong again. The box is marked right but packaged wrong they told me that the backing plate they were sending was for a evo so the breather holes wouldnt line up. Afetr a couple phone calls just decided to go with another a/c. Not meaning to jack your thread but you may wanna stay away from joker til they straighten this out. even tho they do make a quality product something is just mixed up at the moment.
The guys at Figure Engineering are fantastic! I've been to their shop and I've seen their work. Positivly top notch. They have pride and take great care in their work. I had them custom cut some pieces for me and they have powder coated the entire front end (lowers, triple trees, headlight, speedo housing, turn-signals, hardware, etc.) of my Sportster along with numerous other projects I've presented them.
Tell 'em what you want and they'll make it happen.
They ride, too.
Thats been my experience with them so far...Although i havent purchased from them just yet, Ive been emailing Loren with all my questions and he always takes the time to answer, sometimes within minutes.
