Default scared me!

When I got in from work there it was, the package I've been waiting for Brand new 10.5" lowering shocks. I put em on my 04 883 and I tell you it made one hell of a difference. The shocks dropped the bike so much I got real nervous for the first 10 miles or so, worried about scrubbing. But hey look here once i got the feel down it was on. My sporty has never handled like that it is amazing what 2 1/2 inches can do. But i been telling women that for years. LOL

I did notice that my rear tire looks cocked in the swing arm but i can"t find a good reference point to measure from with out breaking out the laser and dial calipers. Any body got a method sure would appreciate any info. Thanks

Look on the swing arm in front of the axel. About 10" give or take. You'll see a small hole. you measure from that hole (there is one on both sides) to the center of the axel. You can buy or make a tool to measure it.

Heres a pic of the tool.
