I've got a 2005 Sportster, Roadster 1200. And I am installing Show Chrome heated Grips.
The standard install kit comes with leads that are meant to go directly to the battery(or other power source), and that lead is fused with a 5 Amp fuse.
I want to install a small relay inline with that power(plus) lead, so that I can't accidently leave the heated grips on when I shut the bike off.
Anyone have an idea exactly where I need to wire this relay into??
Any help would be mucho appreciated, as soon as possible..

Are they HD grips or aftermarket? My HD grips have a 4 amp fuse. I would have to pull the seat to tell exactly where it got wired to, I think the main breaker or something similar in order for it to be off when the key is off.
