where are you? i always run premium and it does just fine-
if your bike is injected, a controller does make a difference. i run the premium fuel with my controller set a bit rich. bike runs like a bat outta heck!
The manual on my Nightster calls for 91. I can't imagine that there would be a benefit to running a higher octane, unless you've done some engine mods. I've run 93 a few times for the heck of it, and haven't noticed a bit of difference.

oh i disagree if your running 2 up and climbimg a steep hill you will notice otherwise its hard to feel.i run 94octane always unless i run out and there are no chevrons around then its 91 and i can notice ..but ya have to be empty if ya fill up when the light comes on there is 1 gal or so left so your 94 just gets a bit diluted and its not noticable at all
