Doc here, Usually I'm on here asking for help with my bike but this time I'm asking for prayers.
One of OUR fellow riders and a member on this forum board many you know as (TexasBikeBoy aka Matt) was hit (by a car) this past Sunday and is still in the hospital till today. I don't know the exact details of the accident. He was NOT speeding or anything but I know a car hit him on the side and messed him up really bad and his bike totaled, he has to get his leg amputated from the knee down later today. (i don't know which one)
I don't know much more than this but i wanted to just post this to ask you guys to pray for Matt and his wife and kids. He's an awesome guy willing to help anyone out without asking for anything back in return and i hate that he has to go through this.
I spoke to him today and even though he's been in a wreck and the situation about his leg being cut off he is still in high hopes and just shrugs about it all. He was more worried about his bike than his leg which i think is a little funny considering the circumstances.
So please guys pray for Matt and his family and be safe out there on the rode.

Sorry to hear about this. Its very good he has a positive attitude. It can happen to anyone at any time, even in a car.I rode with a broken foot in the past, sounds like he might need a hand shifter on his next bike. They replace limbs and people seem to get by ok these days, just have to work out a way to work the controls.Way back in WW2, Duglas Bader did amazing things with both legs missing, shooting down Germans, getting shot down and escaping a number of times! With a positive attitude, there is nothing you cant do...Brett
