I creep over here from time to time from the softail side... These machines are just awesome!! They look dang good stock, but you guys really make them your own. I dig it.
scored this seat on ebay for 60 bucks. not sold on the red metal flake strips. but the comfort of the seat is nice. im tall 6'3 so i tend to seat far back on my seat, this seat pushes me forward, which i though might make me cramped but the back support is a must have for me at this point in time.
2016 here. Back at it with a new 48. Just getting started on the mods and this ain't the best pic ever but you get the idea.
Coming back from owning a nightster and been away from riding for a good few years now. Excited to get out on the roads when the weather gets back to some normality lol.
Cheers!
Beautiful bike, I love that paint scheme on the tank harley did a good job on that one, also i'm really digging that exhaust. You guys make me want a sportster. I'm on my first harley now and its an older lowrider. I've never been on a sporster how do they compare power wise to a TC88. Also as I'm tall 6'3 would i be comfortable on one of these. I think I could maybe get one of these as a second bike next summer but need to find one to ride first and see if i like it.
My 2015 work in progress. Here's what's been done so far.
DK 1.5" tank lift
DK coil relo
DK ignition relo
Dk extended forward controls
DK Aluminum pegs
DK license plate relo
Joker Machine A/C.
Mother Road Customs solo seat and mounting plate
V&H short shots
V&H fuelpak
Wire tuck
Removed front fender, belt guard, pulley guard, and front reflectors
Shaved off the rear fender reflectors so the filler piece was still there.
Still sitting in a box for this coming weekend is a set of Nash bars, Joker Machine schooner mirrors, Avon grips, and a set of Magnum cables.

All done for now. Trying to decide if I want to replace the whole turn signal or just go with CD inserts. And when I find the right tool bag I'll add that. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
