Default Help Back fire

Hi can any one help my 1200c backfires when i close the throttle the bike is only 3days old spoke to the dealer but just said see how it go's and we will look at it on the first service.

Go to the Dealer NOW, don't take no for an answer. Something is WRONG.
Sounds like it could be an intake or exhaust leak. OR way out of tune. Rich/lean.
NO stock Harley should back fire if you let off the throttle and "NOT blip her

I agree with Nevar on this one. It needs to be fixed immediately especially if you just bought her. The bike should not backfire right off the showroom floor. Even if you don't have a stage 1 upgrade, it should still not backfire like that. If it's backfiring, Im willing to bet you're not even getting the performance on accel as you should be. Good luck...

thanks for the info been out on the bike to day and its still doing it so im going back to the dealer on monday
