I have those bars from Road6. I think there are a few guys on here that have them in the 12's, mine are 8". It's easy to wire internally and I haven't had a problem with it yet.
I have the 8" version as well and love them, although I have not been able to ride because my brake line is not long enough. For those of you guys who said you have the 8" what did you do for the brake line? I have an 05.
Back on topic though, the qaulity of the bars I got is great and the feel durable.

I had 10 mini apes before the 8" from road 6 and already had longer cables. popadop has the rsd version at 7.5" and he used his stock cables but had to bend the metal part of the brake cable that goes into the master cylinder. you can get a cable kit from j&p cycles at a fairly reasonable price.
thanks guys, will order first thing in the morning. hes also offering me cables, he says hell beat harleys price, but hasnt given me a cost yet :/ i hope all said and done ill be under $350.00
I really like those as well. I got a 2010 iron and would like to put them on my bike. Mal...take some before and after pics and post em. I really got 2 look into what it takes to get them switched around.
