AWESOME pictures.. some really cool looking bikes there! Loved them all. The one with the side car definitely takes the cake though.. what a badass scoot!
I was there from about 1 PM - 2 PM. I agree with the quality of vendors. I would have liked to see more accessories / leather / t shirt vendors. Either way, PLENTY of bikes to check out and a very nice crowd. Weather wasnt looking too good later that day, so I decided to head out for a ride.
Took a ride around Beltsville Lake. Saw a small road that looked like it might go down to the lake, so I took it... On my way down the road into the state park, I was basically getting dive bombed by these two small airplanes... Freaked me out for a second, then when I caught a good look, they ended up being these RC planes. This group rents some property from the park, and they all get together on the weekends to fly these RC planes. I could see a car in a field, so I went through the grass road to where there were about 6 guys with these awesome little planes. I had a bunch of questions about them, and they were all very friendly and showed me all the neat flying tricks they could do! A couple of them were interested in my bike as well.
Sat was a great day... Great bike show, great ride around the lake, met some nice older gentlemen to talk to for a while, and a nice ride back home, just beating out the rain! Then came home and took a nap (a very rare occasion for me!) and headed out with my friends to the strip club at night for a friends bachelor party! Great day overall... beginning with seeing a lot of GREAT bikes in Lehighton!
Man, wish I could have made this.....grew up in the area.
Jim Thorpe, Lansford, Coaldale, etc...
Seriously miss the trout fishing.....and the alligator free lakes.....
