Default AC help, EFI

I know some of this has been hashed over, but I just am not a mechanical person and could use some clarification on how this all works.

I have a 2009 Iron 883, with SE stage1 (V&H pipes) stock football cover. I want something different, but will also likely do a 1200 kit this coming spring.

Should I wait till I do the 1200 conversion to make a change? Is something more than a SE stage1 needed once you have the 1200 kit. How much difference between it and a Heavy Breather. I like the looks of velocity stacks, hyperchargers, some of the RSD and JM stuff, but have heard too many with mixed responses on performance.

I want looks and performance. Thanks.

The SE A/C should move enough air for a 883 or 1200. Velocity stacks look badass but unless you get one with a filter, I wouldn't run one on the street. Hyperchargers have been know for all show and no go as far as performance. Mainly most aftermarket "high flow" A/Cs should be fine its just up to you to decide what looks good to you. It doesn't really matter if you change it now or after the conversion. IMO

+1 On the above.

But to the OP, you don't mention anything about what you're currently using for a Stage 1 tuner.

I just had a dealer re-map. I got a $1k gift card when I bought it new, had the pipes, SE stage1 and re-map done before I got it (no idea what stock was like). I do not have anything else.
