Default Which Service Manual

Bought my 1st bike- 2009 Sportster - Any advice on which service manual to buy. Would like to do maint. and adjustments. Nothing too major. Is HD manual worth the extra for this kind of servicing. Thanks

The illustrations in the factory (HD) manual are the clearest to read. I have both, usually use the factory manual.

+1 on the factory shop manual. It is the most descriptive manual I have seen. Make sure you get electrical diagnostic manual also.

One thing that many guys do is take ti to kinkos or a place like that and have the spine cut off and have it spiral bound. Then you can lay it flat when working and see the pages you need to. It also makes it easier to copy a page if you have that ability at home.

That is a good idea. I just might have to do that with all of my manuals.
