Default Engine Upgrades

I am thinking about maybe tweaking some of the internal components to get a bit more power. Any suggestions on where to go? Cams, springs, etc..

2007 Nightster, SE air filter (i want to ditch, dont care for the look), VH Short Shots, and a PCV. Runs awesome, good power, but always in search of more.

Depends on your check book. Im going to suggest the same thing i always do because it was easy and made me a ton of power. NRHS heads, a good cam and ditch the short shots. They look good and sound great but make crap power numbers.

Don't ditch the SE air filter. It ain't the prettiest on the market, but it breathes the best.

The sky's the limit on a sportster motor, I did a Edelbrock 100hp kit bored 30 over, Andrews N8 cams, Crane VEOS ignition, 3.750 stroker crank and a Mikuni HR42 opened to 44 mil, The bike is a beast and has proven very reliable. 5000 miles on the rebuild and still going strong.

All you really need to do is head work and up the compression a little. The bike already has a great set of cams for street use and you have to ditch the crap pipes for a good set of 2-1 pipes.
That's all you really need unless you are a total speed junky.
