I have the same taillight on my XL50 and like it alot. I love the looks of the LED headlight when it's on, but do not like the ricer look when it's off and the $400 price tag sucks!

LEDs don't burn out since there's no filliment. Also, no filliment, no vibration issues. Great for a bike like a Harley that vibrates things to death.
Like the lights - hate the price. I went with a Osram headlight from GermanAutoParts.com @ $15 (shipped) - much brighter than stock. Yes, it's not as good as your LED, but saved $385...your money.

HID's have no filament either, and they don't use as much power as a regular bulb
(unless you're running a LOT of electronics, it's not an issue anyway)
