Not too much going on with the build... Just lots of contemplating/planning on bits and pieces to reassemble. I have not got my frame back yet, so that is a big part in the hold up. Once that comes back I can begin mock ups and take measurements to order certain parts I have my eyes on.
Since I have last posted, I have pieced together my own chain conversion through a few companies... I could have easily purchased a kit for around $300 but then my conversion would be like anyone else that has purchased the kit. So I opted to research and build my own.
I ordered my chain from www.moto-chains.com They had excellent customer service and I would highly recommend them to others.
Front sprocket was from www.vulcanworks.net/ I had my brother order this as he was ordering parts as well for his own bike, so I can not give any first hand feedback on the experience. I have never heard anything bad about them and know my brother is a returning customer and has also introduced me into doing business with them.
Rear sprocket was from www.pbisprockets.com which was last but certainly not least. I dealt with them first hand and was amazed at there customer service. I spoke with one of the owners and they machined me a sprocket application that they did not sell off the shelf and the sprocket shipped the same day as I ordered it. Excellent excellent customer service. Would do business with all these companies again especially PBI!!!
A picture of the rear sprocket as I feel its the only piece that deserves to be shown.
very very nice...i liked your swingarm version...i'm looking forward to your chopper version
Here is a pic from Laconia 2010 that I had purchased a few days ago... There is a guy that sits on the side of a highway near bike week and snaps pics all day. You then have the option to purchase the rights to the digital photo or he can sell you an actual print. I opted to just purchase the digital image and can always throw it on a disk and bring to walmart to have them print whatever size(s) I want.

Spent a few hours today doing some assembling... I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Lots and lots to do/order still, just nice to have the bike back home and actually looking like a bike again!!!
