hey im wanting to know if anyone knows how to change the fluids on a 07 nightster i already did the oil...is the primary and the trans. filled from the same place also are they two seperate fluids or two seperate drain places. really need some help guys.
Primary and Transmission communicate with each other, share fluid and are both drained / filled from the same areas (drain from drain plug on left side of bike toward the back of the primary case, fill from either the primary inspection cover or the primary cover). I believe that you just add 1 quart of Formula + . Good Luck.
I just did mine, warm the bike up a little and let all the fluid drain (screws on the bottom of the cover towards the rear), then just remove the screw for the inspection cover and pour 1 qt in there.
that's perfect if you're computer is right on your workbench. seriously, where is your owners manual? invest in a repair manual also, so worth the money.

An old "garage" laptop is a very handy tool to have on the workbench, and used laptops are plentiful and cheap.
When your not using it for your PDF manuals, you can always stream your p0rn to it.
