**** the service manual. It was getting dark and I was buzzed so I gave up for the night. Came home from work today and figured it out in 5 mins. I want to be able to post stuff on here w/o getting smart-*** comments. Either help, or don't. Thanks everyone.

Just buy a manual...most of the questions you'll have will be answered before you even attempt whatever repair/disassembly/reassembly you're doing.

I don't see what the big deal is. And I didn't see any smart *** comments in your thread. Atleast, not as smart *** as some of the replies I've seen you post yourself.

Will post some pics tonight on this thread. Almost done with the internal wiring and having a lot of fun doing it.

Loosen the idle cable all of the way. Insert the throttle cable. Twist the grip slightly and then insert the idle cable.

One of the ends of the feruls is slotted like a screw. I get it close and then use a screw driver in that slot to give it the last bit.

Seriously...you'll be amazed at how detailed & helpful the service manual is.
