Can you guys help me with the OEM number for the 48 gas tank decal. I need the colors in the picture. Grey and orange I think.

I'm not positive but I think its painted, not a decal.

It's paint. If it was a decal you wouldn't see any 48's rolling around with that eyesore stuck to their tanks.

actually it is a decal that is put on after the tank color is sprayed and then the painters bury it under clear coat.

I do beleive it's a waterslide decal, but I'm not sure. Isn't anyone here that have a Parts cataloque for the 48? I have started a project for my 2002 Sportster and one of the plans is to repaint and use the 48 design....
