sorry I have been ridfing since 1978, and have been down more times than i can count....but thats just plain damn stupid, especially since the guy before his run broke a leg.
I am not saying you shouldnt be able to ride in the rain but I am saying that you should be able to ride in dry conditions first...enough to know how the bike reacts at least cmon

I'm sorry you feel that way, but the professionals and experts disagree with you.

I’ve been riding since I was about 6 years old...when I was about 8 years old I had one of the worse accidents of my life..my helmet came off and my head was used as a punching bag…out cold..broke nose and few stitches later, my dad said if you don’t get back on it I’m going to sell it…after the swelling went down around my eyes so I could see, I got back on it…best thing I ever did….later when I was 14 I jumped and landed on the seat…when the bike hit…could not walk for almost 2 weeks…..two months later….I was riding again…if you fall you have to get back in saddle if you don’t you never will…so far I’ve been lucky on the street….knock on wood…IM 38 years old now, and I know there is a difference between dirt and street, I’ve ridden in rain and snow on dirt…my first trip on the road when it started raining…the bike slide about 100 or so feet…I went sliding right behind it…lucky nothing broken on me or the bike..Just a few scratches..Rode home to lick my wounds…
