After looking at the bars I attached earlier in the thread I think the only option would be a speedo side mount. The Demon Cycle bars are 4.5" risers and drag bar all in one piece. If I'm looking at it correctly in order to do the "48" speedo I'd need the bars and risers to be seperate pieces in order to facilitate the use of the speedo clamp....
Looks like its time to start saving those pennies again and getting the Joker relocation kit....lol Modding is never really finished is it?

I have the 48' speedo on my nighster as well. Not a lot of work involved with machining the risers. My hubby just shaved them down a bit with a handheld 4" grinder. I don't have a great close up pick yet but here is one with the new setup and stock bars:
Started looking at different bar options since I've decided to go with the "48" speedo swap(just can't justify the cost of the Joker relocation kit) and came across the Vintage Short Stack bars on the RSD site.
Anyone else running these? If so, what's your opinion on how they handle? Where you able to run stock cables/wiring or did you have to extend it? Thanks for the help everyone.

Is there a particular reason for going agains a side mount because there is an excellent really clean piece from Joker Machine that mounts to your left side 39mm fork with LED display and everything.
Or there is what many of us did before these parts were available and purchase a Summit Racing speedo mount and you can get an upper clamp that has an insertion piece for your LEDs (thanx FISH)
otherwise this is what you may look like
slackster, what drag bars are those? I like the width and pullback on those and this is the best picture I can find of what I want my bars to look like..
