Default Quick Question

Momma decided to get off the back of the RK on finally ride her own. Picked her up a '04 sporty 1200c, still stock. After choke cable snapped in my hand, decided to put V&H straightshot HS s/o, SE stage I w/a K&N stage I filter, to give her a little better performance and sound for wifey (and some fun for me when I grab it) Had to pull carb out anyway. She's just shakes her head at me and says "if ya gotta". Gonna rejet with 45slow, 185main and go 3 turns out before I run it to dial-in Idle mixture and Idle speed...seems like worked well for all here on search. Sound good? Leave main at 180? ...before ya say I should've went with full headers, hell thats $300 I'm using for my bagger!

Thx

I found for me in flat humid warm FL I liked the 44 better than the 45 over the stock 42. Leave the main alone as its only used at WOT.

I'm running a 46 slow, 190 main and 3 turns out. SE a/c and Cycle Shack slip-on's.

All motors are different, but by far, the most common simple stage 1 1200 jet configuration is a #45 pilot and #180 main. The stock jets are #42 & #175.

Thanks men. I'll go 45/180 and dial in from there once I fire her up.
