same on my 06 1200L no farts at moderate weather 45 slo 88xl needle running excellent now in the 60 s it farts a little, too much oxygen in the air a 46 or so slo will cure it but much cooler weather and pa snow will park it ,my turbod daily driver loves it

I had the same problem when my 883 was still an 883. I happen to meet a guy when we went to daytona that built and dragged bikes. He gave me the perfect cure. The bike from factory is jetted lean for emmissions. You have to rejett the bike using Dynojet kit and it will tell you with your altitude what main jet and secondary to use according to pipes ect. If there is any question just call Dynojet and they will help no problem. It will solve the spitting and coughing but it will also hurt a little mileage. Mine before was getting 65 mpg before and after 59 mpg but with a little more pep.

Mine does the same thing when it's cold outside. The colder it is the more it coughs and the longer it takes to warm up, if it ever actually does. It's pretty annoying. You would think after 30-40 miles it would be warmed up.

yep it was warm out the next day (oregon what can i say) i took it out when it was over 70 degrees, no problems when warming up and not one carb cough when riding. Its only when its cold out. crappy.
